We use this kit to develop blots using storm 860 phosphoimager as the imaging system. ECL Plus reagent has high sensitivity and a longer signal (half an hour) which is not possible with conventional Western blot developing substrates.

We followed the manufacturer protocol. In brief, solution A and solution B is mixed in a 1:40 ratio to the final volume of 500 microliters and applied on the blot which is incubated for a minimum of 5 minutes before imaging the blot .
As the reagent is light sensitive, always mix and incubate the Blot in a dark place
Very clear bands were observed
Go for this reagent when you are using a phosphoimager as the imaging system.
