I was trying to perform PCR on a difficult, GC-rich genomic template. I tried MyFi Mix because it is ready to use, compatible with TA cloning and allows the reaction to be set up at room temperature.

As my template is difficult (GC-rich), with other polymerases I had to use some additive (e.g. GC Enhancer) to make the PCR successful. So it is great that I don't need to add anything else to this MyFi Mix! It is so simple and easy to use, but it is very reliable. I have since used this polymerase for a wide range of templates. I have also successfully performed TA cloning directly on the PCR products amplified using this polymerase.
