I use this kit when I need to make relatively small amounts of DNA to use for restriction digestion, colony PCR, etc. I like this kit because is consistently works and is easy to use.
Plasmid Isolation
None
Grow 1-5 mls LB + bacteria overnight. Spin down bacteria pellet and then follow kit instructions to isolate the DNA.
Follow protocol
The yield is good with this kit and the spec readings are acceptable too.
Kit works.
This is a good kit to use for isolating plasmid DNA.
