Our lab's longstanding goal is to unravel new protein biomarkers in cancer and elucidate their functional role in tumorigenesis. In this study we evaluate the expression of NKp46 protein on NK cells, a well known immunology protein that is involved in the activation of NK cells. From the results it can be seen that this antibody detects NKp46 protein in the cytoplasmic and membrane compartments of the cells (green) using Alexafluor-488 staining. This antibody is a good choice to stain NK cells to detect Nkp46 receptor presence.

From the results it is visible that the antibody stained for Nkp46 protein in the NK cells (green color). The fluoroscence of Alexafluor was detected using 488 channel and for nucleus staining DRAQ5 was utilized that was detected in the 647 channel.
