Product Name:

Chicken anti-Mouse IgG (H+L) Secondary Antibody

Catalog Number:

A-21463

Primary mouse antibody against acetylated tubulin was detected. It gives a strong signal easily detectable in confocal microscopy and low background.

Experimental Design and Results Summary

Applications

Immunofluorescence

Sample

Primary Human Epithelial Cells

Primary Incubation

Primary anti-mouse antibody, overnight, 4 degrees

Blocking Agent

3% BSA

Secondary Incubation

Chicken anti-Mouse AlexaFluor 647, 1:500, 1 hour at room temperature

Tertiary Incubation

NA

Detection

Confocal Fluorescent Microscopy

Results Summary

Image shows AlexaFluor 647 pseudo-colored white staining ciliated epithelial cells. The primary antibody was anti-acetylated tubulin, so 647 should be staining cilia. This show the secondary binds to the primary and the lack of strong background signal shows it has nice specificity.
