Our experiments were assessing effects of Aryl hydrocarbon Receptor activation in dendritic cells and T cells. We assessed AhR activation in whole spleen primary cultures. We used AF700 anti-CD4 because it worked with our staining panel.

Results Summary

We observed good separation of peaks between CD4+ and CD4- cells; however, we did notice some "spreading" with this particular CD4 antibody so our histograms weren't as clean as with other CD4 antibodies.

This product is okay for CD4 populations in the spleen as they are easily identified. I was not satisfied with the amount of spreading that occurred, would only recommend it for high frequency CD4+ populations.
