We performed a test of Canine IL5 assay on canine plasma serially diluted 1:2 and spiked (with standard) plasma serially diluted. The assay gave correct values of spike and read endogenous IL5. Numbers were as expected (based on spike and basal recoveries) and worked over several dilutions. Conclusion is that the assay works as advertised.
