These are single stained beads for compensation control. These beads are great for compensation. We use 5ul/antibody for making the compensation per sample and the signal is still very strong.

5ul beads, 10 minutes incubation in 100ul FACS buffer with antibody, 2 wash
If your flow machine has a discriminator setting make sure it's set to 50 or 0 as the beads will not show up at higher discriminator settings
Excellent peak separation. If using cells with high background, like macrophages, set the voltages lower than you'd expect for the compensation.

Can't use with high background starting material for compensation (e.g. myelin)
