We are using this microscope for different types of applications, such as cell imaging, immunofluorescence and animal in vitro imaging. It is convenient to operate and there are many useful functions like stitching, time lapse imaging and so on.

Protocol Overview

Different cellular components of a living animal liver biopsy sample were stained with different types of fluorophore, such as GFP, DAPI and Alexa 635.  We did multichannel imaging on the slide and the contrast looked good.

Tips

Be aware of the filter setting to separate different channels and acquire images sequentially.

Results Summary

Four different color images were acquired, representing different components, such as cell nucleus and f-actin.
