The aim of the research is to study splenic hemopoietic progenitor cells in cancer. In my experiment, I tested if a cytokine associated with tumor promotion alters progenitors counts. We selected Brilliant Violet 421™ anti-mouse CD11b Antibody from BioLegend specifically because CD11b is expressed in myeloid cells and can be found in adult spleens. Using this product I was able to exclude differentiated subsets and focus on progenitor cells.
