Equipment Used for Environmental Surveillance and Monitoring

The Triathler is a portable Liquid Scintillation Counter (LSC) that enables accurate and efficient detection and measurement of low energy beta particulate radiation such as tritium and other high-energy alpha radionuclides that are not presently detectable with any other portable hand held survey/contamination-monitoring equipment for in situ measuremnts. We do enviromentla surveillance for two nuclear power plants and this portable LSC has enabled us to carry out field monitoring in case of a radiological accident/incident.
