Info: View Product View Product Specs
ab18465 staining Ctip2 in P1 mouse cortex tissue sections by IHC-Fr (Frozen sections). Tissue samples were fixed with paraformaldehyde and blocked with 3% serum plus 0.1% Triton-X 100 for 1 hour at 25°C. The sample was incubated with primary antibody (1/400) at 4°C for 24 hours. An Alexa Fluor®546-conjugated Goat polyclonal to rat IgG (1/1000) was used as secondary antibody. Although Ctip2 stained nuclear compartment of the cell, citrate antigen retrieval was not required.

Confocal imaging
Ctip2 was counterstained with nuclear marker DAPI. Ctip2 (Abcam ab18465) specifically stained for the nuclear part of layer IV neurons in the postnatal day 1 mouse cortex.
No antigen retrieval is required
Easy to use, nuclear staining is specific and clear.
Requires a relatively high concentration, a little costly
This is a very good antibody to label layer VI Ctip2-positive neurons in the mouse cortex.
