Primers and Probes

Primers and Probes Various types of primers and probes are available from several suppliers for applications in molecular biology. Used in PCR-based amplification, oligonucleotide primers guide the activity of polymerases in order to amplify gene-specific sequences. Non-specific primers, such as random hexamers and oligo-dT primers, are used in the synthesis of cDNA and DNA hybridization probes. DNA and RNA probes are labeled oligonucleotides used in hybridization experiments, such as nucleic acid blotting, in situ hybridization and FISH.

  • Anti-GARP Antibody for Antigen Specific T Cells

The aim of the experiment was to detect antigen specific Treg cells using anti-GARP antibody. In addition, antigen- specific Treg cells were characterized through expression of CD3+ CD4+CD25+FOXP3+CD127-GARP+LAP+ cells.
  • Versatile Microplate Reader for Routine Cell-Based Assays

We use the Tecan Infinite M Plex (Tecan i-control , 2.0.10.0) on a regular basis for a wide range of fluorescence and absorbance assays, particularly in the context of cell-based experiments. The instrument is routinely used for ELISA and absorbance-based assays, as well as for fluorescence measurements using fluorescent probes and markers. Its versatility allowed us to perform different types of plate-based assays on a consistent basis, making it a useful instrument for our day-to-day experimental workflow.
