Biocompare, Inc. Launches the Trends in Liquid Handling Future Lab

SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., Feb. 7, 2017 -- Biocompare, a Division of CompareNetworks, Inc. and the leading product information resource for the life sciences, has launched the fifth in a continuing series of digital information content hubs called Future Lab: Trends in Liquid Handling (https://www.biocompare.com/Future-Lab/Liquid-Handling/). This interactive feature, sponsored by Gilson, is designed to make learning about new technological advances in the life sciences easier and more engaging. Trends in Liquid Handling will focus on the latest developments in liquid handling and how they are positively impacting genomic, proteomic and small molecule research.

The response to these content hubs has exceeded expectations. The previous four Future Labs, all launched by Biocompare in 2016, have focused on: Protein Production, Immunodetection, Cell Culture and Flow Cytometry.

"We are really excited to have developed this platform to allow the three million scientists who visit Biocompare each year to be able to consume content in a much more engaging environment. This fully supports Biocompare's mission to educate scientists in the latest technology while providing the tool provider community a unique and novel way to engage with our audience," says Joan Boyce, VP & GM of Biocompare.

Future Lab brings together informative content and presents it in an interactive environment to educated researchers on the latest developments in a wide array of topics in the life science space. The benefit of this is that as content gets continually refreshed, users will be notified and come back over time to consume the latest information. With all the resources available to users, Future Lab provides a unique vehicle to impactfully deliver content and see an immediate response.

"The creation of Future Lab is the next phase of growth and content development for Biocompare and we're excited about launching additional Future Labs in areas that are driving basic and translational research," says Mike Okimoto, Ph.D, Biocompare's co-founder and Chief Content Officer. "The next iteration of the platform will continue to provide novel engagement opportunities and we look forward to releasing them in the coming months."

Creating a community through content is what keeps users engaged and will, in turn, bring the scientific community closer.
