Cayman’s HDAC1 Inhibitor Screening Assay Kit provides a fast, fluorescence-based method for screening HDAC1 inhibitors. The procedure consists of two easy steps, both performed in the same microplate. In the first step, an acetylated lysine substrate is incubated with HDAC1. Deacetylation sensitizes the substrate such that treatment with the HDAC developer in the second step releases a fluorescent product. Trichostatin A is included as a control inhibitor.
