Galectin 8 Antibody

Immunohistochemistry analysis of paraffin-embedded Galectin 8 in human kidney tissue. The section was pre-treated using heat mediated antigen retrieval with Tris-EDTA buffer (pH 8.0-8.4) for 20 minutes. The tissues were blocked in 5% BSA for 30 minutes at room temperature, washed with ddH2O and PBS. Incubation was done with monoclonal Galectin 8 antibody (Product # MA5-34693) at a dilution of 1:50 (30 min, RT). The detection was performed using an HRP conjugated compact polymer system. DAB was used as the chromogen. Tissues were counterstained with hematoxylin and mounted with DPX.

Immunofluorescent analysis of Galectin 8 in HepG2 cells (green). Samples were fixed in paraformaldehyde and permeabilised with 0.25% Triton X100/PBS, incubated with Galectin 8 monoclonal antibody (Product # MA5-34693), followed by DAPI (blue).

Western blot analysis of Galectin 8 in mouse testis and rat testis tissue lysates. Samples were incubated with Galectin 8 monoclonal antibody (Product # MA5-34693), at a dilution of 1:500.

Immunofluorescent analysis of Galectin 8 in HepG2 cells (green). Samples were fixed in paraformaldehyde and permeabilised with 0.25% Triton X100/PBS, incubated with Galectin 8 monoclonal antibody (Product # MA5-34693), followed by DAPI (blue).
