Targeted sequencing is widely used to increase the depth of coverage of specific target regions of the genome. As the need for more rapid and comprehensive genomic assays evolves, modifying and customizing targeted assays can become both time-consuming and costly. Adaptive Sampling whole-genome sequencing offers a flexible and simple approach. Rather than selecting target regions during library prep, Adaptive Sampling performs target selection during active sequencing. This means targeted sequencing can be performed directly from a standard nanopore sequencing library, without using any custom enrichment reagents or performing additional wet lab steps.
