ImageGlioblastoma (GBM) is a spatially heterogeneous brain tumor with limited treatment options and poor prognosis. Effective therapeutic targeting requires a deeper understanding of the tumor microenvironment (TME), particularly the spatial relationships between malignant, immune, and stromal compartments. High-plex spatial proteomic profiling can visualize and characterize biomarkers relevant to tumor biology, immune modulation, and stromal architecture. Further, AI-powered image analysis can segment tissue regions and quantify spatial protein expression patterns across distinct anatomical zones.

In this poster from Leica, discover how scientists used a combination of multiplex imaging and AI-based analysis to define a mechanistic link between tumor plasticity, vascular remodeling, myeloid activation, and cytotoxic T-cell exclusion in GBM.
