RNA Amplification Kits

RNA amplification kits are used for the production of complementary RNA, anti-sense RNA, or for the detection of specific RNA sequences. Some kits contain reagents for cDNA synthesis and in vitro transcript labeling and are designed to produce biotin-labeled antisense RNA (aRNA) from total cellular RNA samples. Other kits label target RNA with cyanine-based fluorophores for use in oligo microarrays used in gene expression profiling. Kits are also available for isothermal RNA amplification techniques, such as RT-LAMP (reverse transcription loop-mediated isothermal amplification), which enable the detection of specific RNA target sequences without the need for PCR equipment.
