PCR master mixes are premixed solutions that contain multiple components of a PCR reaction for fast and convenient PCR setup. Generally, a mastermix will contain the polymerase, each dNTP, working PCR buffer, MgCl2, and nuclease-free water at determined concentrations. A simple addition of the template and the appropriate primers completes the reaction.
