Kit components typically include reverse transcriptase, polymerase, buffer, fluorescent probes, and dNTPs. Additional reagents such as RNase inhibitors and enhancers may also be included. For a streamlined procedure that combines cDNA synthesis and qPCR in a single reaction tube, consider a “one-step” format.
