For labs running 1–16 samples per batch, the icon16 delivers the gold standard in adaptive NGS library amplification, without requiring 96-well throughput to justify it.
Powered by iconPCR™ technology, the icon16 features 16 individually controlled thermal zones with per-well, real-time fluorescence detection. AutoNorm™ software monitors every reaction and stops each well independently at its optimal amplification endpoint — eliminating over-amplification artifacts and library dropouts from low-input or degraded samples.
Compatible with all major commercial library prep kits and sequencing platforms (Illumina, PacBio, Element, Ultima), the icon16 requires no protocol changes. Libraries are normalization-ready for direct pooling — no post-PCR quantification needed.
Ideal for single-cell RNA-seq, spatial transcriptomics, cfDNA, FFPE, and rare disease workflows. Compact benchtop footprint (W 30 cm × D 32.5 cm × H 21.5 cm).
