The Digital Sight 50M monochrome microscope camera is designed to support high throughput imaging in Nikons large 25 mm field-of-view environment, with 60 megapixels across a 35.8 × 23.8 mm CMOS sensor.
Included imaging and analysis software is purpose built for screening large sample volumes, making it easy to transition between low magnification macro-observation and higher magnification, higher resolution imaging. Well plate tools include a plate view, heat map, and various analyses.
Sensitive fluorescence applications such as live cell imaging benefit from a high 85% peak quantum efficiency, low noise, and fast readout options. The included video demonstrates its use for live calcium imaging of mouse cardiomyocytes using Fluo-8 dye.
