Description
Human CD4+ T helper cells play a central role in the adaptive immune response by providing help to B cells and cytotoxic T cells and by releasing different types of cytokines in tissues to mediate protection against a wide range of pathogenic microorganisms. These functions are performed by different types of T helper cells endowed with distinct migratory capacities and effector functions. Use SuperBeads® Human CD4+ T Cell Isolation Kit to enrich viable Human CD4+ T cells from fresh or previously frozen peripheral blood mononuclear cells or washed leukapheresis samples by immunomagnetic negative selection. The kit depletes CD8+ T cells, B cells, NK cells, monocytes, platelets, dendritic cells, granulocytes and erythrocytes. The negatively isolated human CD4+ T cells are left in the sample and have not been touched with the SuperBeads.
