The TBARS/MDA Universal Colorimetric Detection Kit from Arbor Assays quantifies malondialdehyde (MDA) and related lipid peroxidation products (TBARS) in serum, plasma, tissues, cell lysates, urine, and food extracts. The assay measures the formation of a pink-colored MDA-TBA adduct, with absorbance at 535 nm, offering a detection limit of 0.36 µM and a range from 1.563–100 µM.
