Description
The Corning® spheroid microplates feature the Corning Ultra-Low Attachment surface which effectively inhibits cellular attachment. This combined with a novel well geometry, makes these microplates an ideal solution to assay and analyze 3D multicellular spheroids in the same microplate. The microplates also feature black well walls that reduce well-to-well crosstalk and background fluorescence/luminescence. The 96-well Corning spheroid microplate is compatible with the HTS Transwell®-96 tissue culture system for 3D immune oncology models for high throughput testing. The Corning spheroid microplate is available in 96-, 384- and 1536-well formats. Each microplate is compatible with most automated imagers.
- Corning spheroid microplates – 96-well - Corning Cat. Nos. 4520 and 4515
- Corning spheroid microplates – 384-well - Corning Cat. Nos. 3830, 3830BC, and 4516)
- Corning spheroid microplates – 1536-well - Corning Cat. No. 4527) formats
Features: - Ideal to generate and analyze 3D multicellular spheroids in the same microplate
- The spheroid microplate is optimized for visualization, thanks to the black opaque microplate body, which reduces well-to-well cross talk
- An excellent tool to create uniform, centered, single spheroid formation across all wells with a simple and easy to use “plug and play” protocol
- No specialized equipment is required and the Corning spheroid microplate is compatible with HTS instruments
- Easy for media or buffer change
- No transfer step necessary for visualization or assay, reduces the risk of damaging your work because there are fewer steps which leaves less of a chance of harming your cell culture and its also less cost per run.
