Description
ABTS Substrate is a one-bottle, ready to use substrate for HRP microwell applications. It contains 2.2’-azino-bis (3-ethylbenzthiazoline-6-sulfonic acid)-diammonium salt in a mildly acidic buffer. Unreacted substrate should be colorless to very light green in appearance. ABTS develops a blue-green color in the presence of a peroxidase labeled conjugate. The reaction can be stopped using 1% SDS stop solution. ABTS substrate is not applicable for use with assays requiring a precipitating substrate. ABTS Substrate is stable for a minimum of 36 months when stored at 4oC. Storage is recommended at 2 – 8oC
