Description
Gibco Neomycin is produced by Streptomyces fradiae. Polymyxin B Sulfate acts by binding to the 30S subunit of the bacterial ribosome leading to inhibition of protein synthesis and death in susceptible bacteria. Gibco Neomycin Sulfate is used for the prevention of bacterial contamination of cell cultures. This antibiotic is highly active against gram-negative bacteria. The recommended working concentration is 50 g/ml. We offer a variety of antibiotics and antimycotics for cell culture applications.
