Professor Marina Zenkova, Ph.D., having graduated in Chemistry (B.Sc. – 1977)with a Ph.D. in site-selective modification of RNA (1991, Novosibirsk, Russia), Dr.
Marina Zenkova continued her research
in France in the Institute of Molecular and
Cellular Biology (Strasbourg, 1991 – 1995)
collaborating with the laboratory of Prof.
B. Ehressmann. In 2003 Marina received a degree of Doctor of Sciences working in the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry (Novosibirsk, Russia), and a year later she became a professor. In September 2006 Marina was appointed as a director of the Laboratory of Nucleic Acids Biochemistry in the Institute of Chemical Biology and Fundamental Medicine (Novosibirsk, Russia, SB RAS).
