Natalie Francis has been working in the cell and gene therapy space for over 15 years. In that time, she worked on developing pluripotent stem cell therapies for diabetes and retinal disease, genetically modified hematopoietic stem cell therapies for rare genetic diseases, and T cell therapies for cancer. Francis has worked in both industry and academia and has experience in both early- and late-stage development. In her current role, she is leading translation of a novel photoreceptor cell therapy for the treatment of retinal degeneration in an academic setting. Francis oversees all aspects of product development and manufacturing.
