Fig 2: Representative image of pS129 aSyn, PGP9.5 and MPZ immunofluorescence in skin biopsies collected postmortem from PD, DLB, MSA and control subjects.Immunostaining revealed detection of pS129 aSyn (red), PGP9.5 (green) and MPZ (magenta) in nerve fiber bundles of PD, DLB, MSA and control cases (n = 3 for each group). Co-localisation of pS129 aSyn and PGP9.5 was observed in PD, DLB and MSA cases (arrowheads) but not in control cases. Deposition of pS129 aSyn was observed in both myelinated and non-myelinated nerve fibers. The scale bar is 10 µm.
