Anti-cKrox antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the cKrox antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the ZBTB7B gene, which encodes zinc finger and BTB domain containing 7B. This protein is known to function in the regulation of gene expression and the regulation of cell differentiation, among other biological roles. The human version of cKrox has a canonical amino acid length of 539 residues and a protein mass of 58 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. Other names for this target antigen include THPOK and ZBTB15.
