CBL ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein Cbl proto-oncogene, which is encoded by the CBL gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a reported adaptor protein that functions as a negative regulator of many signaling pathways that are triggered by activation of cell surface receptors. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid sequence of 906 residues and a mass of 99.6 kDa. It is known to be localized in the cell membrane, golgi, and cytoplasm. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally ubiquitinated and phosphorylated. The CBL gene has been associated with the disease, Noonan syndrome-like disorder with or without juvenile myelomonocytic leukemia. Other alias names for this target include CBL2, FRA11B, NSLL, RNF55, E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase CBL, and C-CBL.
