The following E2F Transcription Factor 2 ELISA kits are useful research tools for the measurement of E2F transcription factor 2 in biological samples. In humans this protein is encoded by the E2F2 gene. This protein is reported to be a transcription activator that binds DNA cooperatively with DP proteins through the E2 recognition site, 5'-TTTC[CG]CGC-3' found in the promoter region of a number of genes whose products are involved in cell cycle regulation or in DNA replication. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 437 residues, a mass of 47.5 kDa, and is a member of the E2F/DP protein family. Its subcellular location is known to be in the nucleus. In certain instances, it is also post-translationally phosphorylated. This protein may also be known as transcription factor E2F2.
Some E2F Transcription Factor 2 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.15 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Use the search filters to narrow your search and click on the ELISA kits below for more detailed information, such as reactivity and assay sensitivity.
