GRIPAP1 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein GRIP1 associated protein 1, which is encoded by the GRIPAP1 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to regulate the endosomal recycling back to the neuronal plasma membrane, possibly by connecting early and late recycling endosomal domains and promoting segregation of recycling endosomes from early endosomal membranes. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid sequence of 841 residues and a mass of 96 kDa. It is known to be localized in the membrane. As many as 3 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally cleaved.
