ASB10 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein ankyrin repeat and SOCS box containing 10, which is encoded by the ASB10 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is believed to be a substrate-recognition component of a SCF-like ECS (Elongin-Cullin-SOCS-box protein) E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase complex which mediates the ubiquitination and subsequent proteasomal degradation of target proteins. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 467 residues, a mass of 50.9 kDa, and is a member of the Ankyrin SOCS box (ASB) protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm and is notably expressed in the eye. As many as 3 protein isoforms have been reported.
