EML3 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein EMAP like 3, which is encoded by the EML3 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to regulate mitotic spindle assembly, microtubule (MT)-kinetochore attachment and chromosome separation via recruitment of HAUS augmin-like complex and TUBG1 to the existing MTs and promoting MT-based MT nucleation. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 896 residues, a mass of 95.2 kDa, and is a member of the WD repeat EMAP protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm. As many as 3 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally phosphorylated. Other alias names for this target include EMAP-3, echinoderm microtubule associated protein like 3, and echinoderm microtubule-associated protein-like 3.
