These Synaptotagmin VII ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring specific protein levels in biological samples. Synaptotagmin VII is an alias of the human SYT7 gene, which encodes the protein, synaptotagmin 7. The protein is known to be a Ca(2+) sensor involved in Ca(2+)-dependent exocytosis of secretory and synaptic vesicles through Ca(2+) and phospholipid binding to the C2 domain (By similarity). The SYT7 protein is 403 amino acid residues in length and 45.5 kilodaltons in mass. However, as many as 6 protein isoforms have been identified. It is localized to the cell membrane of the cell. In terms of tissue specificity, it is reported to be expressed in a variety of adult and fetal tissues. This protein is known to be palmitoylated. Other names for this target antigen include IPCA-7, IPCA7, and PCANAP7.
There are Synaptotagmin VII ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 0.312 ng/mL and as high as 20 ng/mL. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
