DAXX ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein death domain associated protein, which is encoded by the DAXX gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to be involved in chromatin remodeling and the apoptotic pathway. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 740 residues, a mass of 81.4 kDa, and is a member of the DAXX protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm and is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. As many as 5 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally ubiquitinated, sumoylated and phosphorylated. Other alias names for this target include DAP6, EAP1, SMIM40, death domain-associated protein 6, CENP-C binding protein, and BING2.
Some DAXX ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 20 ng/L and as high as 50 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
