PSMD9 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein proteasome 26S subunit, non-ATPase 9, which is encoded by the PSMD9 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to act as a chaperone during the assembly of the 26S proteasome, specifically of the base subcomplex of the PA700/19S regulatory complex (RC). The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 223 residues, a mass of 24.7 kDa, and is a member of the Proteasome subunit p27 protein family. It is reported to be expressed in all tissues tested, highly expressed in liver and kidney. As many as 3 protein isoforms have been reported. Other alias names for this target include p27, 26S proteasome non-ATPase regulatory subunit 9, 26S proteasome regulatory subunit p27, homolog of rat Bridge 1, and Rpn4.
