OGA ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein O-GlcNAcase, which is encoded by the OGA gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to be involved in metabolic processes. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 916 residues, a mass of 102.9 kDa, and is a member of the Glycosyl hydrolase 84 protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm and is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. As many as 4 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally cleaved. Other alias names for this target include MGEA5, NCOAT, protein O-GlcNAcase, N-acetyl-beta-D-glucosaminidase, N-acetyl-beta-glucosaminidase, and MEA5.
The detection range for different OGA ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 68.6 pg/mL and as high as 200 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
