These Crbp ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of Crbp in biological samples. Crbp is an alias of the human RBP1 gene, which encodes the protein, retinol binding protein 1. Notably, Crbp is known to play a role in the metabolism of lipids, among other functions. The RBP1 protein is 135 amino acid residues in length and 15.9 kilodaltons in mass. However, as many as 3 protein isoforms have been identified. It is localized to the cytoplasm of the cell. In terms of tissue specificity, it is notably expressed in nearly all the tissues with higher expression in adult ovary, pancreas, pituitary gland and adrenal gland, and fetal liver. Other names for this target antigen include CRABP-I and CRBP1. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
