These PDHa ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of PDHa in biological samples. PDHa is an alias of the human PDHA1 gene, which encodes the protein, pyruvate dehydrogenase E1 subunit alpha 1. Notably, PDHa is known to play a role in carbohydrate metabolism and homeostasis, among other functions. The PDHA1 protein is 390 amino acid residues in length and 43.3 kilodaltons in mass. However, as many as 4 protein isoforms have been identified. It is localized to the mitochondria of the cell. In terms of tissue specificity, it is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. This protein is known to be acetylated and phosphorylated. Other names for this target antigen include E1alpha and PDHAD.
There are PDHa ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 78.13 pg/mL and as high as 50 ng/mL. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
