These PAD2 ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of PAD2 in biological samples. PAD2 is an alias of the human PADI2 gene, which encodes the protein, peptidyl arginine deiminase 2. Notably, PAD2 is known to play a role in chromatin remodeling, among other functions. The PADI2 protein is 665 amino acid residues in length and 75.6 kilodaltons in mass. However, as many as 2 protein isoforms have been identified. It is localized to the cytoplasm of the cell. In terms of tissue specificity, it is notably expressed in keratinocytes in epidermis. Other names for this target antigen include PAD-H19 and PDI2.
There are PAD2 ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 78 pg/mL and as high as 100 ng/mL. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
