The SYNE3 protein is 975 amino acid residues in length and 112.2 kilodaltons in mass. However, as many as 3 protein isoforms have been identified. It is localized to the nucleus and ER of the cell. In terms of tissue specificity, it is reported to be expressed in aortic endothelial cells. Other names for this target antigen include nesprin-3.
