PRSS57 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein serine protease 57, which is encoded by the PRSS57 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to be a serine protease that cleaves preferentially after Arg residues. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 283 residues, a mass of 30.3 kDa, and is a member of the Peptidase S1 protein family. It is known to be localized in the cytoplasm and is secreted and is notably expressed in peripheral blood neutrophil granulocytes, but not in other types of leukocytes. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally N-glycosylated and cleaved. Other alias names for this target include protease, serine 57, serine protease 1-like protein 1, and neutrophil serine protease 4.
There are PRSS57 ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 20 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
