CDKN1A ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein cyclin dependent kinase inhibitor 1A, which is encoded by the CDKN1A gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is suspected to be involved in p53/TP53 mediated inhibition of cellular proliferation in response to DNA damage. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 164 residues, a mass of 18.1 kDa, and is a member of the CDI protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm and is reported to be expressed in all adult tissues, with 5-fold lower levels observed in the brain. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally ubiquitinated, acetylated and phosphorylated. Other alias names for this target include CDKN1, CIP1, MDA-6, P21, SDI1, WAF1, p21CIP1, and CAP20.
There are CDKN1A ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 20 ng/L and as high as 100 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
