NSD2 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein nuclear receptor binding SET domain protein 2, which is encoded by the NSD2 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to be a histone methyltransferase, which specifically dimethylates nucleosomal histone H3 at 'Lys-36' (H3K36me2). The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 1365 residues, a mass of 152.3 kDa, and is a member of the Histone-lysine methyltransferase protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and is widely expressed across many tissue types. As many as 7 protein isoforms have been reported. The NSD2 gene has been associated with the disease, Rauch-Steindl syndrome. Other alias names for this target include KMT3G, MMSET, RAUST, REIIBP, TRX5, WHS, WHSC1, and KMT3F.
Some NSD2 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
