These GalNAc-T1 ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of GalNAc-T1 in biological samples. GalNAc-T1 is an alias of the human GALNT1 gene, which encodes the protein, polypeptide N-acetylgalactosaminyltransferase 1. The protein is known to catalyze the initial reaction in O-linked oligosaccharide biosynthesis, the transfer of an N-acetyl-D-galactosamine residue to a serine or threonine residue on the protein receptor. The GALNT1 protein is 559 amino acid residues in length and 64.2 kilodaltons in mass. However, as many as 2 protein isoforms have been identified. Its subcellular localization is in the golgi and is secreted. In terms of tissue specificity, it is widely expressed across many tissue types. This protein is known to be glycosylated. Other names for this target antigen include GALNAC-T1. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
