PRND ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein prion like protein doppel, which is encoded by the PRND gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to be required for normal acrosome reaction and for normal male fertility (By similarity). The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 176 residues, a mass of 20.3 kDa, and is a member of the Prion protein family. It is known to be localized in the cell membrane and is reported to be expressed in testis, in Sertoli cells, ejaculated spermatozoa and in seminal fluid. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally O-glycosylated and N-glycosylated. Other alias names for this target include DPL, PrPLP, dJ1068H6.4, downstream prion protein-like, prion gene complex, downstream, and DOPPEL.
There are PRND ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 78 pg/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
